Anybody else kind of tired of CNN's scrolling news ticker? That darned thing crashes my browser about 30% of the time I have it open. Mozilla just doesn't seem to be cool with the java I guess. It's not like the ticker has any kind of valuable information. It's the same stuff on their headlines area. Soldier wounded in Tikrit. Sadaam still not found. Journalist should have ducked. Yadda yadda yadda. Damned scroll bar.
Well here as I'm checking back on the site I realize that they've done away with it. Nice timing, Korte. Nice.
So let's see... what's new in the great wide world? Work is going smashingly well. I get so excited now when my day is done and the sun is still out.
I've got the day off today and tomorrow. Should be tons of fun. This morning, I'm leaving to drive down Skyline Drive on this fine day and meet up with Jennifer afterwards. We'll hang out for a while and then meet Jeff and Olivia, then take one car down to Roanoke to see Def Leppard in concert. :)
On the way back, I'm travelling behind Jeff and Olivia to Richmond to sleep and then spend the day around town (post here if you're up for lunch on thurs!)
Then I'll be off for home again.
Oh, the car is shiny as hell. I hand-washed last night to finish up my rounds of cleaning. It was 80 degrees last night, so I air dried it by hauling ass up and down Route 7 outside of my neighborhood. Man, that beats the hell out of hand drying! :)
Okay, I'm off. Can't stay long. Use the calendar over there if you missed the camping blog or yesterday's blog. Look at me go! three blogs in a week and it's the third day! This is like the old days on peer2all. :)
Have a great Wednesday!
