My host, Jeff Pollard.

Howdy folks, Paul here again. I've been having major problems with my antique computer. For some reason it likes to suddenly freeze up and give me this pretty blue screen that says; Hey Paul, I suck so can you please beat the hell out of me so I can be in itsy bitsy peices. It's really annoying. Pretty soon though I will have a better machine, a heavy metal machine.... well, sort of. I recently bought an AMD Athlon 800 processor with a motherboard and case on Ebay. I'll just tear apart this lousy Sony Viao and grab the hardware I need. So hopefully I'll have an Athlon 800 with an 80 gig hard drive and blah blah... I'm boring the non computer geeks so I better stop :)

... aren't you glad it's the weekend? It's so nice knowing you can sleep in on the weekends. Slack off and finish off those home projects you've been planning. I'll be working on my car if it doesn't rain. The brake rotors are really warped and makes this awful grinding noise, so I will be replacing them with cross-drilled rotors and semi-metalic pads. These are the typical brake parts for race cars and such. Jeff and Olivia, if I don't make it this Sunday you can find me further down the the east coast going 120 mph struggling to slow down the Corolla with no brakes. Just kidding, I'm pretty sure it's easy to install. I know what you are thinking (especially the ladies) "why don't you get an auto shop and have them install it." Well my friends, it's a man thing. Grease on our hands, playing with tools, tearing apart things, and thinking "pay 80 bucks for labor my ass, I AM THE MAN!!" So what are you doing for the weekend? Please post on the comments section.

I should be getting a phone call from Brian sometime tomorrow. I'll give you an update about their road trip next time.

Farewell and goodnight,

-Paul

Comments:

Paul, it's been nice reading your updates for the last few days. I had no idea you were such a handy guy. The car upgrades sound like they'll add a lot and make it better. As for my weekend, Annie and I just got back from a drive to the outlet mall and we stopped at several wineries on Cayuga Lake. She enjoyed sampling some of what they had to offer, and we bought a few bottles to have on hand. It's gorgeous up here in Syracuse this weekend (I know, I know- we WILL enjoy it while it lasts!) Good hearing from you- take care.

Dan
